"We three adults had a great stay at Ashburton: a perfect location to access the many charming country towns between Orange and Bathurst including nearby Millthorpe. The cottage was warm, cozy and well appointed, and we enjoyed exploring the lavender fields and wandering the laneways. Ken and Phe are friendly and considerate hosts and we greatly appreciated their local knowledge and generosity. The friendly farm pets, wide night sky and selection of fine local wines was a welcome bonus."

"This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute...

"This property is perfect for a family getaway. Its quiet (so the kids can b kids) and surrounded by animals which the kids loved. Kayley was one of the best hosts, reaching out early to help with directions and had the home set up for us to feel at home the moment we walked through the door."

"We were looking for a winter escape to the country and found it in this beautiful cottage. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable beds and ensuites to the thoughtful supplies of milk and bread. Loved the sun coming through the gums and watching willy wagtails from the kitchen window. We had frost one morning and rain through the night but remained snug by the fire. We could have stayed a week."

"A lovely, quiet country property within easy reach of the convenience of Orange. The pool was a huge hit with the kids - great size and very clean. The house was well equipped with everything you need, including a generous welcome hamper. Books, games, TVs, wifi etc. We were a bit concerned about the lack of air con given it was mid-summer, but even though the days were warm the house stayed cool, and the elevation gave us a beautiful cool breeze every night.
